Townshend maintenance continued today with our second of three workdays in Bravo Team class. We quickly divided up into teams to accomplish prepping surfaces before snack so that we could coat before the end of the day.
Some of the jobs involved green paint (prep and coat) on the sole boards inside the boat, on the sole boards outside of the boat, varnish (prep and coat) on the transom, yards, tiller, and name boards, and some specific hull work in Seattle Gray.
Snack happened halfway through class with our environmental topic being discussed. Luca brought a Salish Sea Report on the environmental foot print of a Google Search. Moment of Silence ended with a Helen Keller quote: “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.”
