Get on the Water

There’s no better place to learn from the sea.

From free boat rides to Team Longboat and Learn to Sail classes, there are plenty of ways to get out on the water this summer at the Northwest Maritime Center!

Saturday Sails

Take advantage of Port Townsend’s beautiful fall season with our new Saturday Sails! Spend 2-3 hours sailing with an experienced sailor on a keelboat on Port Townsend Bay (exact time depends on conditions). This class gives you the opportunity to discover what sailing is all about without committing to an entire course. Also great for folks who just want to get out on the water, with or without prior sailing experience! Click here to learn more and sign up for Saturday Sails. Saturday Sails are operated by Left Coast Charters.
