On April 14, join us down on the banks of the Duwamish at SeaTac Marine Services in your foul weather gear and get ready for a memorable and one-of-a-kind evening of street eats, craft beer and wine, salty entertainment, and maritime fun!

Foulies & Food Trucks is our new fundraiser in Seattle to support maritime experiences for the youth of our region. Come hear stories of the positive impact of maritime experiences from youth participants and maritime leaders and learn how you can change kids’ lives and support a thriving maritime industry at the same time.

Our NWMC staff and Maritime High School students will be there bringing the fun! Some activities you can look forward to include:

• Try using a refractometer to guess the salty mystery liquid with Abbie Smith and Dustin Vail of our Salish Sea Expeditions team.
• Join Joel Arrington, Boatshop manager, and show off your hand planing skills in our longest shaving contest! The top three winners get entered into a raffle drawing with winners announced at the end of the evening. 
• Navigate an underwater obstacle course with the Maritime High School ROV club

Some of the region’s best food trucks will be on-site to cater dinner—including Seattle’s first Native American food truck, Off the Rez, who will be serving up some amazing frybread tacos! Their delicious daily creations have garnered them a cult following. More trucks will be announced soon, stay tuned!
