Winterizing Your Boat
Weekend Workshop Series
October 10, 2026 | 9 AM–5 PM | Cost: $139 non-member, $129 member
Description:
In this one-day crash course, we’ll walk you through all the essential steps to protect your vessel during the off-season. From engines and fuel systems to plumbing, batteries, and basic covering strategies, you’ll gain the knowledge and confidence to put your boat to bed the right way.
We’ll cover outboard and inboard systems, flushing, draining, fuel stabilization, moisture control, and general maintenance tips to prevent that off-season neglect. Whether you’re new to boating or just tired of costly spring surprises, this class will help you avoid hard-starting engines, moldy cabins, and mysterious electrical gremlins.
Taught by seasoned Boatshop staff who’ve seen and smelled it all, this course is equal parts practical, preventative, and potentially a life-saver for your boat. Come with questions, leave with a checklist, and give your boat the winter love it deserves.
