Trailering, Transporting, and a Lesson In Boat Ramp Etiquette

Weekend Workshop Series
June 20, 2026 | 9 AM–5 PM | Cost: $139 non-member, $129 member

Description:

Tired of turning the boat ramp into a spectator sport? Join us for a fun, one-day crash course (figuratively!) on the basics of backing up a trailer, launching and hauling your boat like a pro, and avoiding ramp rage.

We’ll cover topics like the fine art of reversing a trailer and the unspoken rules of boat ramp etiquette. You’ll also learn the basics of trailer care, cartopping small boats, and easy preventative maintenance that keeps your gear rolling smoothly. We’ll use a mix of demonstration, hands-on practice, and probably a few laughs at our own expense. Bring your questions, your sense of humor, and maybe that friend who always “helps” by shouting YOUR OTHER RIGHT! This class is perfect for beginners or anyone who wants to feel more confident and less flustered at the launch, on the highway, and in the driveway.
