Navigating the Future: An Introduction to Electronic Charts & Navigation Systems – In-Person

April 25, 2026

10 AM–3 PM (1 hr for lunch)| Cost: $165

Description:

With the US Office of Coast Survey (NOAA) phasing out traditional navigational charts by the end of 2024, the era of raster and paper charts is drawing to a close. This shift makes Electronic Navigational Charts (ENCs) essential for all US waters. But did you know ENCs aren’t usable as charts until displayed in specialized software?

Join us for an engaging, two-part hands-on session where you’ll discover what you need to confidently navigate in this digital-only charting era. Learn where to find official ENCs and explore options for creating an electronic navigation system that ensures safe, reliable voyages—all without breaking the bank.
