Today we had a great and challenging day on the water. We spent the afternoon practicing our rowing of the long dory Onward in preparation for our full day journey this weekend. The northwest wind gave us the chance to practice our power strokes. Visits from a harbor seal and brown pelican were exciting treats!

Being with Great People

After what feels like too long, Bravo Team finally made it back on the water today and it was glorious. We spent the first few minutes of class finalizing some journey plans for the all day trip next week. We are all looking forward to spending a whole day together exploring, sailing, rowing, and snacking.

Most of our girls spent their day taking a state test on a computer at school. Even though this meant we only had an hour to work today, the overall sentiment was that being in the shop was way more fun. A few girls applied their beeswax finish today, which is the last step. Others
