This past week, East Jefferson Habitat for Humanity Chapter (https://www.habitat.org/us-wa/port-townsend/east-jefferson-county-hfh) decided to get outside of the office / worksite and try something new with the help of Northwest Maritime Center Program Staff and Longboat Townshend.
- They wanted to…
- do “something that would be fun for people and totally different from the normal workday, something that would get people outside their normal comfort levels but also be really a thrill for them.”
- Their goals included…
- giving “a chance for people to play, to let go of their normal responsibilities, to see one another in a totally different environment doing totally different things”
As you can see from the photos, many smiles were captured on the 4-hour experience. Thanks to Habitat for Humanity Staff for showing up for the experience and for each other!
