WA360 is finally back after four long years, and the cannon fires at 11 AM on June 28, 2025. If you missed it the first time or you’re looking for a northwest adventure race that lets you keep your engine aboard, WA360 has your name on it. Starting in Port Townsend, and with four waypoints spanning the length of our home fjord—Olympia Shoal, Goat Island, Bellingham Bay, and Point Roberts, before heading back to Port Townsend—WA360 offers you a shot at glory right here in the Puget Sound.
It’s simple: pick your division. The Wind Division is for teams using sails, while The Muscle Group pits purely human-powered teams against each other. But don’t think that sails guarantee a win here. In 2021, fast sailors faced off with kayaks and pedal-powered craft, and muscle-powered teams had the lead for over half the race, proving that the currents and doldrums of the race course are a compelling gauntlet that nobody gets through easily.
What’s at stake? Bragging rights, unforgettable stories, and for some of you, a shot at The 1180 Award—that badge of honor awarded for completing SEVENTY48, WA360, and R2AK. Whether you’re an R2AK alum, a first-timer, or a local ready to tackle an endurance race in your own backyard, WA360 is your chance to be part of something challenging, real, and downright exciting.
Applications open November 15. Choose your power: Wind or Muscle, and secure your spot at WA360.org.
