Get to know Team Narrows Minded

First thing first. Why race in WA360?
Sailing mostly from our homeport of Seattle we rarely get to see the Northern and Southern sound. This is a unique opportunity to tour around while exercising on a bike between occasional spurt of wind.

What’s your connection to these waters?
The Puget sound is our home turf and our source of inspiration. We love every aspect of it from the evanescent summer winds to the currents that always seem to push us in the wrong direction. We love our barking orcas, farting whale, bumpy porpoises, playful seals, and barking sea lions.

Superpowers. Each crew member gets one. What are they and why?
Ghislain: 5 shackle juggling because you never have enough shackles
Fred: Silver sea salt producer because you gotta eat what you gotta eat
Ben: Knitting with closed eyes because it’s super useful to fix the trampoline
Enzo: handstand on a paddle in Johnson strait because you got to ride with style

Defend your vessel choice for WA360. What makes it so cool and worthy?
A farrier F25C is a lightweight yet robust vessel that can move fast in marginal wind conditions.

What are your adventure qualifications for WA360? What makes you (y’all) cool and capable?
Everyone onboard has gone to or from Alaska.

What is going to break?
The people are the weakest point of our boat. Sleep deprivation, morral, exhaustion, lack of clear mind all contribute to stupid decisions.
