Admiral Jack

Port Townsend Bay Tours:

Explore Port Townsend from the water as you cruise to points of interest around Port Townsend Bay aboard our comfortable catamaran, Admiral Jack. While our knowledgeable crew shares the history of our charming village-by-the-sea, you’ll have the opportunity to experience the seafaring wildlife that inhabits our coastal waters and indulge in views of the Olympic and Cascade mountains.

Please purchase your ticket online in advance to ensure your spot on the tour. Walk-up availability may be limited; last-minute tickets can be purchased in the Chandlery, located at 431 Water St, Port Townsend—if space allows. Kids aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

*PFDs (lifejackets) are not required aboard but are available for all ages on request.

Hands-on Ship Simulator Tours

July 1–September 2
Free and first come first serve | All ages welcome
Saturdays | Every half hour from 12:00–4:00 PM (last one at 3:30 PM)

Pilot a ship into Seattle's Elliott Bay (or under the Golden Gate Bridge!) and experience what it’s like to drive into a storm as you don the role of captain in our state-of-the-art Ship Simulator! Our simulator is a destination for Commercial Pilots to train to safely steer a commercial ship into ports across the west coast. These interactive tours offer a rare opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at a professional mariner training facility and experience it first-hand as you navigate through a person-overboard drill.

Check in for your tour at the Chandlery located at 431 Water St, Port Townsend. Kids aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
