Safety for Cruising Couples — In-person Class
Description:
Taught by experienced presenters from the Cruising Club of America, this engaging class helps couples prepare for safe and confident cruising together. It’s designed for partners where one person is less experienced, or where both are relatively new to cruising.
Participants will learn practical tools to prevent, and, if necessary, respond to, on-water emergencies. Topics include effective skipper–crew communication, controlling the boat and establishing your position, getting help, and managing emergency situations. Whether you’re new to cruising or looking to refresh your skills, this class will help both partners feel capable, prepared, and ready to enjoy the voyage.
This class is in person at the Northwest Maritime Center campus.
