Beyond Basic Keelboat: Docking

Take your keelboat skills to the next level with our three-hour Beyond Basic Keelboat class focused on mastering advanced docking techniques. This course is designed for individuals who have already obtained a Basic Keelboat Certification and are eager to enhance their practical skills in the crucial area of docking. Class size will be limited to three students to maximize time with the instructor.

May 26, June 9, June 23, July 7, July 21, Aug 4, Aug 18, Sept 1, Sept 15
1– 4 PM | Cost: $149 non-member, $134 member

  • Prerequisites: Basic Keelboat Certification
  • For Ages: 16+
  • Platform: We teach on our Cal 20 and Catalina 250.
  • Duration: One 3-hour course that takes place on a Sunday afternoon
  • Audience: For those who have already earned their Basic Keelboat Certification and want to practice docking techniques
  • Materials: US Sailing Basic Keelboat Textbook

  • Cost: $149 non-member, $134 member
  • Notes: Please watch for a reminder email with class schedules, details, and pack list to be sent via email one week before class. This class has a two-person minimum.
