Today was another awesomely beautiful spring day on the water. We started the day by sailing out of the marina with the wind behind us. Then we headed out into Admiralty Inlet to visit with the Rhinocerous Auklets who have returned for breeding season at Protection Island before tacking back and doing a water front tour. The crew is getting dialed in on thier longboat tacking and gybing skills.

Ben, Zinnia and Rachel worked with Sonia on navigation skills and were able to triangulate our position. Hunter, our coxswain, steered us, while Mary and Anika worked the sheets. In the end we rowed in with Mary, our new team member as our stroke oar!
