Windy days

Thursday’s wind storm wreaked havoc all along Western Washington.  Cliff Mass’ Weather Blog is an incredible resource.  Check it out if you’ve never done so.  Power was out at Point Hudson for most of the day Thursday.  WSU Extension, Hasse’s sail loft, Docs and Northwest Maritime Center all were closed due to the lack of electricity.

Final Townshend Maintenance Day!

The boat needed one more day of maintenance. Our crew went right to work on various green painting tasks including the floorboards, sheer strake and rudder. We also prepped for and did some varnish work.  It looks fantastic! Re-launch will happen next Thursday, Feb. 11 at Boat Haven Marina in the afternoon. We’ve even got a ceremony planned
