Three Races, One Big Weekend
May 31 – June 6, 2019
For the first time ever, we’re combining the Race to Alaska, SEVENTY48, Classic Mariners’ Regatta, and the Ruckus into one back-to-back weekend of awesome. Starting in Tacoma, going through Port Townsend and Victoria, and ending in Ketchikan, we’re racing and partying every step of the way.
Race to Alaska
Start: June 3, Port Townsend
No engines, no support, all the way to Alaska. It’s in the spirit of tradition, exploration, and the lawless self-reliance of the gold rush that Race to Alaska was born.
Start: May 31, Tacoma
SEVENTY48 aka 70 miles in 48 hours. Rules are simple: no motors, no support, and no wind. That’s right. Human power only. Pedal, paddle, or row. We don’t care. It’s up to you.
Classic Mariners’ Regatta
May 31-June 2, Port Townsend
Animating Port Townsend Bay since 1984 with beautiful classic boats, high-caliber sailors racing their hearts out, and a friendly atmosphere. Don’t forget the rowing race on Sunday!
June 2, Port Townsend
We’re celebrating the racers the best way we know how, with music, food, beer, tattoos, and the adventurous spirit of the races; it’s the best street party in Port Townsend.
