Marine Navigation for Women and Couples: Navigate Your Way with Confidence, Two-Part, In-Person
Embark on a two part hands-on journey into marine navigation, tailored for women and couples eager to take the helm. This beginner-friendly course offers essential skills for aspiring commercial mariners, equal sailing partners, or solo adventurers aboard private yachts. It’s also an excellent foundation for those planning to tackle advanced navigation training.

This class is in person at the Northwest Maritime campus.

10 AM–12 PM | Cost: $150 non-member, $135 member
- Prerequisites: None
- Platform: In-person at the NWM Campus
- Teaching style: This class consists of a presentation followed by interactive discussions and a Q&A session.
- Duration: Two 2-hour sessions
- Materials: Supplementary materials and resources will be provided for further reading and reference one week prior to the class.
- Notes: Please watch for a reminder email that will be sent one week before class. This class has a six-person minimum.
