Marine Explorers Port Townsend

Calling all aspiring student scientists & sailors… Welcome aboard the S/V Carlyn for an overnight adventure to learn what it’s like to conduct field research and explore the scientific process through hands-on sampling and analysis. Under the careful supervision of our educators & crew, student scientists and sailors are empowered to take the helm, raise sails, plot a course, all while examining how each of us is connected to the Salish Sea. Scholarship funding is available upon request.

This program is open enrollment for 4th-8th graders. Questions? Please contact Stephanie Burns at or 206.780.7848 x 133.
