Jim Tolpin in the Chandlery

Sticks, Stones, Strings and Symmetry

From the most ancient times, artisans coupled primitive tools—little more than strings, sticks and stones—with a deeply intuitive understanding of the immutable truths of geometry to efficiently create pleasing designs and execute high-precision layouts. As you’ll see, some of these “tricks” for generating dimensions, angles and shapes seem to almost border on magic.

Join us in the Chandlery for a presentation by Port Townsend woodworker Jim Tolpin. Enjoy 20% off store wide during the event!
