Environmental Project Planning Day

Bravo Team took advantage of a shore day due to a small craft advisory to dive into planning our environmental project. We also took some time to go out to Point Hudson where we enjoyed our snack and moment of silence.

The team has chosen to plan a community beach clean up as a stewardship project in April. We are excited about getting people together and cleaning up Port Townsend beaches. We also plan to do a trash sculpture at the end of the day. Students are working in teams to do the different tasks associated with setting up the clean up such as making a flyer, getting gloves and garbage bags donated, figuring out what to do with the trash, and looking at ideas for making trash art.

Once we have more details about the beach clean up, we will share them! Next week we are hoping to get back out on the water. We look forward to getting a chance to row and sail again on the beautiful boat we maintained!
