Spring is here and we are happy to be getting back out on the water more! Today we worked on reviewing our knots and rowing commands. Then we discussed our work on our environmental project documentary “Don’t Suck” about the impacts of plastic straws. Progress is being made and we hope to start filming after spring break.

We headed out into a gray wet day but our orange rain suits kept it colorful! We rowed, sang shanties and power stroked upwind. We enjoyed a quick visit from Schooner Adventuress as she buzzed by on sea trials with her new engine. Our time on the water was short, but a great reminder of more to come as we prepare for our spring overnight journey in May.
