Wooden Boat Foundation

Home to the first and largest Wooden Boat Festival in North America, and still a resource for wooden boat enthusiasts worldwide, the Wooden Boat Foundation is located at the Northwest Maritime Center, adjacent to the entrance to Point Hudson marina (home of the Wooden Boat Festival) and in the heart of the historic and civic district of downtown Port Townsend

While now technically under the umbrella of the Northwest Maritime Center, the Wooden Boat Foundation continues to produce the annual Wooden Boat Festival and sponsor the annual Shipwrights' and Classic Mariners' Regattas.

Classic Mariners' Regatta was held June 6-8, 2014

Founded in 1978, after the first and highly successful Wooden Boat Festival in Port Townsend, the Wooden Boat Foundation has grown over three decades to serve nearly 150,000 people annually in its educational programs, events and services.

38th Annual Wooden Boat Festival - September 5-7, 2014
