Volunteer for R2AK

In Victoria

Help us keep this adventure sailing race thriving!

Calling all Minions! Our incredible team of volunteers makes sure we kick off the Race to Alaska the right way—by giving the racers one last virtual hug before sending them off into the madness of an engine-less unsupported race to Ketchikan.

We are looking for help tying up race boats as they come in on June 8th and then a bunch of help at our racer party on the 9th. It’s a great way to meet the teams and get in the middle of the fun. We actually couldn’t do it with out you all. We are trying be organized, but no matter what, this race is an all-hands affair! The party is going to be at Whitehall Rowing & Sail, 85 Dallas Rd, Victoria. Yes, Whitehall is incredible to agree to throw a party for us! It’s over by the helipad and cruise ship terminal.

To sign up, just follow the easy 2-step process below.

Step One: Fill out an Application

If you filled out the application in 2016, you can simply fill out the release waiver here instead. All volunteers must sign the waiver each calendar year before taking part in volunteer activities. (I know, a lame way to kick off your awesome generosity, but lawyers love this stuff.)
