Heather Johnson-Jock

Heather Johnson-Jock is the Tribal Council Secretary of the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe. She is a past Chair of the Jamestown Community Network Board, and is the current Chair of the JKT Art Board, Inc. Heather is also currently employed with the Boeing Corporation, and serves as a Board Member for the non-profit Potlatch Fund in Seattle. As a strong advocate for community empowerment in the Tribe, and as an accomplished traditional artist, Heather has worked hard to further the Tribe's progress and honor its traditions. While her educational background is in business, she believes in the traditional way of leadership in which “honesty, respect, hard work, and generosity are the roots of good leadership, and a strong community”.
