Dave Robison

Project Manager

Dave was the founding Executive Director of the Northwest Maritime Center from 1999-2006. He is responsible for overseeing and implementing all aspects of the planning, design, permitting, fundraising, and development of the Northwest Maritime Center. Dave has a masters degree in land use planning and coastal management. Prior to forming the Northwest Maritime Center, Dave worked for the City of Port Townsend between 1990 and 1997 in a series of increasingly responsible positions—from the City’s shoreline planner to the Director of Building and Community Development. While at the city, he played a key role in developing the plans, regulatory programs and capital improvement projects that protect and enhance Port Townsend’s Victorian Seaport. When not working, Dave is usually in a boat—paddling either a whitewater kayak, a sea kayak, or sailing his 27-foot sloop.
