Wood Knot Board

This is a wood Knot Tying Board handmade by volunteers in the Wooden Boat Foundation's Boat Shop. It comes with a wood cleat, two rope lengths and a deck of Pro Knot cards that demonstrate how to tie basic sailor knots. The purpose of the board is to practice and learn how to tie various knots. Knots to learn include: tautline hitch, buntline hitch, constrictor knot, double fisherman's, figure eight, bowline on a bight, bowline, water knot, clove hitch, square knot, rolling hitch, sheet bend, prusik knot, trucker's hitch, half hitch, mooring hitch and butterfly knot
